The action of the dramatic film takes place in a remote village of Kyrgyzstan. Two brothers, the rebellious Kerim and the serious Aman, live with their mother and work at the family quarry, where they extract material for making monuments. The brothers ' father is forced to work in Russia to cover the debts of Kerim, who got involved in the drug business. The brothers both fall in love with a local village girl Saltanat, which eventually leads to a fierce dispute and unforeseen and tragic consequences …
