Lecture by Saodat Ismailova and Nigora Karimova on the work of Kamara Kamalova "Everything around was covered with snow"

Tashkent, 28 July 2021 - Within the framework of the Tashkent Film Encounters "Tashkent Film Encounters", a lecture by film expert Nigora Karimova, as well as director Saodat Ismailova was held. The topic of the lecture was dedicated to the picture by Kamara Kamalova "Everything around was covered with snow" (1995). The lecture mainly touched upon the work of Kamara Kamalova, in which we tried to understand the topics with which the director usually worked. We also talked about the role of women in directing, since Kamara Kamalova was the first female director in Uzbekistan.
